SteppingStones is working on behalf of our client, a locally owned and operated company, to assist them in sourcing a Sales Manager.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a sales team using developed sales strategies and new sales opportunities to meet the goals of the company. The Sales Manager will have daily interaction with the Warehouse Manager, CEO and sales team and will develop and execute an annual sales and marketing plan. The role will include maintain client relationships, developing accounts, and maintaining an awareness of developments in the economic and business industry that may impact the commercial success of the company.
We are looking for a candidate that has excellent interpersonal relationships with a proven ability to manage a team. The ideal candidate will be confident, enthusiastic, a team player, and motivated. This role requires an understanding of CounterPoint and a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The candidate must be numerate with the ability to understand sales management information reports.
A University degree – preferably in Business Administration or Marketing
5+ years of relevant work experience in a senior level sales position
Valid driver’s license
