Senior AV Technician

Description

You will have:

• 5-10 years of experience in AV and Automation Installation and Programming
• Savant and Lutron experience and certifications are required
• Experience with configuration and deployment of Luxul and Araknis Networks (Ubiquiti, Ruckus, Pakedge, etc. to be considered equal)

What you’ll bring

• Proficiency in configuration and deployment of Luxul and Araknis Networks, as well as other similar network hardware
• Must have own tools and laptop
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent people skills, especially for high-end clientele
• Passionate about technology and enjoys the work
• Willingness to work 45-50 hours/week, with some evenings and weekends if required
• Able to work on all aspects of the job, from installation to programming and client handover

What you’ll do

• Installation of various systems including TVs, indoor speakers, outdoor speakers, landscape speakers, network hardware, network configuration (Luxul, Araknis), IP Cameras/NVRs, motorized window treatments, and motorized bug screens
• Programming of Lutron (RA3, QSX) and Savant systems
• Leading junior techs on-site and providing hands-on mentorship
• Completing all phases of the project from prewire to final programming and client handover
• Working on projects built in concrete, including ICF, reinforced concrete block, sometimes with interior framing, sometimes on solid rendered walls
