As a dedicated Senior Customer Service Representative, you will be an essential part of our team, focusing on addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing vital information across various aspects of health insurance.

Reporting to the Manager of Claims & Customer Service, the Senior Customer Service Representative plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service and support.

What you’ll do

• Receive and address customer calls and inquiries from members, brokers, and providers.
• Provide accurate and timely information to customers while adhering to departmental policies.
• Process customer requests and conduct thorough research to resolve inquiries.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to gather and provide comprehensive information.
• Offer timely feedback to customers through outbound calls, emails, or mail.
• Report service failures, systemic issues, and customer concerns to the company promptly.
• Assist in special projects and contribute to the documentation and evaluation of departmental policies.
• Meet or exceed customer service metrics and service level agreements.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.

What you’ll bring

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Health Insurance Industry, preferably in customer service or claims.
• Proficient knowledge of CPT/CDT/ICD coding at an experienced level.
• Familiarity with healthcare billing and claims processes is preferred.
• Strong resolution skills and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer skills at an experienced level.
