The successful candidate will be assisting the Fund Administration Manager in managing and overseeing the daily trust related administrative activities and will assist in the review, drafting, editing and negotiation of legal documents. The role also includes participating in business development, maintaining and monitoring trust practices and procedures and liaising with Trustee’s counsel, client counsel and internal counsel on legal documents. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the trusts and funds are registered with CIMA and will maintain all fund legal records and files.
We are looking for a candidate with a comprehensive working experience of mutual fund and trust structures and a working knowledge of Cayman Islands legislation relevant to the Trust and Funds business. The candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft suite of applications and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An internationally recognized law degree
- 5+ years of fund administration and trust experience
- Knowledge of Cayman Islands Laws (Mutual Fund Law, Corporate Governance Guidelines, The Companies Law, The Trust Law, AML Regulations)
