Senior IT Sales Consultant

Opportunity for a Senior IT Sales Consultant to join a full-service IT Consultancy and Business Solutions firm, based in the Cayman Islands. The company focus on clients in the Offshore financial services sector in the region and offer best-of-breed solutions for SME and Enterprise clients.
 
This is a client-facing, revenue generating role with Enterprise Sales, Service Delivery Management and Account Management responsibilities for Enterprise clients in the region. The role will suit someone who is independent and a self-starter and is 100% comfortable hunting for new business and is happy to hold multiple client meetings per week to progress new leads and sales with prospective clients.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Ongoing solicitation of sales of Enterprise Solutions (e.g. Servers, Storage and Networking products) to Enterprise Clients in the Cayman Islands and the English speaking Caribbean.
  • Responsible for the sale of IT Projects, IT support contracts and IT Security related solutions and services to existing and prospective Enterprise clients
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders within prospective Clients and act as a trusted advisor, delivering Pre-Sales advice and a business case for supporting the Sales cycle of the solutions being proposed.
  • On occasion, attendance at various social functions may be required and a limited amount of International travel should be expected.

 Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience of selling DELL and HPE Storage & Server hardware.
  • 5 years’ experience of selling VMware and Microsoft software.
  • 5 years’ experience of selling Wired and Wireless Network Solutions from Cisco or HPE Aruba.
  • Strong communication skills and experience of selling Enterprise Hardware and Software
  • Previous experience in selling IT Managed Services (MSP), IT Managed Security Services (MSSP), Managed SIEM, IT Projects and IT Support services.
  • Strong Pre-Sales background and confidence with dealing with clients at all levels
  • Previous experience of working for a Consultancy firm or Value-Added Reseller

Desirable experience: 

  • Vendor Sales Certifications from HPE, DELL, VMWare, Microsoft, Veeam, CISCO or Nutanix
  • Previous experience of selling Nutanix or other hyper-converged systems
  • Previous experience of selling Exagrid storage solutions.
  • Previous experience of selling Veeam Backup solutions.

This role is open to overseas candidates as a work permit will be provided by Company
