Senior Payroll Specialist

SteppingStones is working with a prominent local financial organization to assist them in sourcing a Senior Payroll Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of monthly payroll. The role also includes researching, reviewing, comparing, and managing benefit and compensation policies and plans. The candidate must have strong analytical and written communication skills as the role requires experience working with financial data and the preparation of reports. Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills are a must as the candidate will be required to present to employees and management. We are looking for a candidate who is detail-orientated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Any experience working with an HRIS application would be considered an asset.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word and Excel
