Senior Software Developer
Description
Responsibilities will include:
- Be seen as a technical development lead by the firm for in-house development initiatives, providing subject matter expertise for projects and the IT department
- Work with the Head of Applications and Systems Development, Development Lead, and Architects to drive forward the firm’s adoption of Legal Technology building
- Advise on modern ways of working to deliver software and applications
- Mentor more junior members of the team
- Work with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to review and define requirements
- Create and maintain documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Lead a scrum team and owns the processes around this
- Conduct continual research on new development practices to remain abreast of developments across the IT industry in multiple verticals
Applicants must have:
- University degree in Computer Science or other relevant discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ previous experience as a Senior Developer leading a Scrum team
- Proven .Net Full Stack development background
- Expert understanding of software development best practices
- Expert knowledge and experience with JavaScript (ECMA Script 6+)
- Advanced experience with .Net Core 2.2+
- Advanced experience with Entity Framework 5.0+
- Ability to write and understand complexed SQL statements
