Trust Officer

Description

This is a unique role in the Trust space as the organization is open to taking those without previous experience in the field and cross training. The firm works with a large book of business and in some cases, with highly complex & contentious cases making it a fascinating & varied scope of work. 

The Trust Team is led by some of the island’s leading Trust professionals and there will be continuous on the job training, giving the successful candidate the chance to really become a specialist in the Private Wealth space. 

The role itself will cover relationship management, day-to-day trust administration, monitoring billing & fee payments, drafting resolutions, and new business generation.

Requirements:

  • A professional qualification such as the STEP, ACCA, CA, ACA, CA(SA), CPA or ACAMS 
  • Previous experience working in the trust space as a trust officer, administrator or from an audit / accounting standpoint  
  • A desire to build a career in the trust & private wealth space 
  • Applicants are required to be currently based in the Cayman Islands
