SteppingStones is working on behalf of our client to assist them in seeking a visionary and results-oriented Vice President – Business & Operations to lead their financial, operational, and administrative strategies in alignment with their strategic goals.
Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the VP oversees critical areas including financial operations, budget management, investments, auxiliary services, physical plant operations, human resources, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership of finance, investments, endowments, risk management, and human resources.
- Oversight of campus facilities, master planning, and construction projects.
- Compliance with fiscal reporting, debt management, and budget forecasting.
- Development of innovative approaches to financial management and operations.
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including financial and governmental organizations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
- 7+ years of progressive financial leadership, with 3+ years in a senior administrative role.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Proven expertise in financial operations, risk management, fund accounting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
