Warehouse Safety and Training Officer

Description

SteppingStones is working alongside our client to assist them in sourcing a Warehouse Safety and Training Officer. 

The successful candidate will assist in keeping the company up to date and compliant with all safety protocols, safety inspections and trainings. We are looking for a candidate that is trained and knowledgeable in HACCP and food safety systems and has experience in identifying and resolving potential food safety and sanitation hazards to the company or products. 

The ideal candidate will be punctual, reliable, hardworking and will possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude. This role requires the ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in developing and implementing policies and standard operating procedures in food safety and sanitation standards 
• Must be willing and able to work in a freezer or refrigerated environment 
• Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 60lbs
