Every now and then on a Sunday morning, the urge takes over all of us (ok, some of us) to hop out of bed before the crack of dawn and stretch our legs with a 5K walk/run. This Sunday just gone was one of those mornings. With a beautiful breeze and clear blue skies, dozens of Grand Cayman residents flocked to Safehaven Drive for the Humane Society’s annual Walk and Wag.
As avid supporters of the Humane Society, the SteppingStones ladies in pink were up bright and breezy to set up our water stop and greet both humans and furry friends with water and treats. An array of energized looking runners and walkers (and those were just the dogs) came pounding the pavement towards us and before long we were inundated with happy smiling faces, wagging tails and a line of small children waiting to grab a pair of the famous SteppingStones pink sunnies!
Another fantastic event organized by the Humane Society that we truly loved being a part of.
