SteppingStones welcomes international marketing consultant to the team

Over the last few months we have been working with Megan Collins on our website, in particular the enhancements of our social networking links. Megan graduated from Newcastle University in June 2010 with an Honours Degree in Business and Marketing, her dissertation which gained the best possible grade, covered as part of its contents the use of social networking media in marketing.

Ciara Aspinall, who has among her many company responsibility oversees the website says, “We were introduced to Megan at exactly the right time. We were looking to update our social networking presence and we really needed someone who understood not only the technical requirements but how to make the best marketing impact.”

Megan is currently living and working in St Andrews in Scotland, but geographical distance proves no problem, working online Megan and Ciara have secured Steppingstones presence on Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin, which have really enhanced the website and so the company product as a whole. Ciara went to say “It is a pleasure working with Megan, her professional, positive and ‘can do’ attitude was a perfect fit with our company’s; she has done a great job.”

When asked about what this project meant to her Megan is clearly very enthusiastic. “Since graduating I have been involved in a number of marketing projects in a variety of different industries in the UK. I really enjoyed the challenge of learning about a recruitment company who operate in a different country and then applying my knowledge to help them.”

Megan continues to work with us from Scotland ensuring our presence is monitored and that we get the best possible marketing return but is hoping to get a real feel for the Cayman market next spring when she is planning a visit to the island. “I am so looking forward to getting to Cayman” says Megan. “Not just for the sunshine and the beaches but to meet the SteppingStones team.   They have been great to work with; so positive, professional and friendly and I feel like I know them already.   I can’t wait to meet them face to face”.
