Account Manager - Temporary

SteppingStones is working alongside our client, a leading local financial institution, to assist them in sourcing an Account Manager for a temporary project.

The Account Manager will administer a portfolio of mutual funds and liaise directly with clients to answer any queries and solve any issues. The role will include providing technical support, guidance, and assistance to clients with regards to AML/KYC requirements, fund accounting, and transfer agency items. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing net asset valuations, preparing financial statements, accurately maintaining a register of investors, and perform day-to-day general fund administrative activities.

We are looking for a candidate that has a strong knowledge and understanding of complex fund structure and the regulatory regime in Cayman and relevant Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills with good interpersonal and relationship building skills. The role requires well-developed time management skills and attention to detail as well as proficiency in all Microsoft Applications including Excel and Word.

Requirements:

  • An internationally recognized professional accountancy qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
  • 3+ years post-qualifying experience in an offshore environment
  • Knowledge of the Cayman Islands mutual funds law, FATCA, CRS, AND Cayman AML practices
  • Immediately available
