Accounts Officer - Contract

SteppingStones is working on behalf of our client to assist them in sourcing an immediately available Accounts Officer for a contract role. 

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, investigating and clearing outstanding items, reviewing and preparing cash receipt journals, preparing, posting, and scanning journal entries, filing and scanning, and assisting the accounts team as needed.

We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. This role requires effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to appropriately handle confidential information. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Experience with QuickBooks preferred
