Business Intelligence Developer

SteppingStones are currently recruiting for a BI Developer to join one of the fastest-growing technology teams in the Cayman Islands. You will be responsible for the delivery of automated and ad-hoc reporting requirements from several in-house applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• End to end BI development, sourcing data from the most appropriate location, preparing it and creating appropriate visuals before deploying it for analysis.
• Take ownership of delivery of reporting projects. Design, write and implement processes necessary to integrate data from new sources whilst helping to design associated reports and dashboards.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and create reports based on specifications created in partnerships with Business Analysts and business representatives.
• Create documentation to support solutions in addition to supporting existing reporting solutions by delivering enhancements and bug fixes.
• Collaborate with the Scrum Team to deliver project and product commitments whilst effectively troubleshooting errors.

 Essential Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge and experience with Azure Cloud, Azure SQL Server and Azure Data Factory.
• SSRS or Power BI Service administration experience.
• Exposure to working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Solid functional knowledge of databases including views and stored procedures.
• Understanding of Visual Studio and how to set up projects.
