General Manager/Head of Finance & Operations

SteppingStones are delighted to be partnering with an exciting start-up in the Web3 space to assist with their search for a General Manager/Head of Finance & Operations. The successful individual will play a major role in overseeing the commercial and operational aspects of the business which is critical to their ambitious growth plans.
  
The Role:

• Lead efforts to develop the structure needed for oversight and development whilst implementing policies and procedures across the business.
• Have a major focus on efficiency improvement and drive cost-effective practices.
• Oversee all financial operations and collaborate with the finance team to manage the budget to meet strategic objectives.
• Identify opportunities within the Web3 space by establishing partnerships and assess the organization’s competitive position in the market.
• Mitigate financial and operational risks, ensuring the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the Board of Directors to formulate and execute strategic plans.

  
About You:

• Qualified Finance professional with demonstrable experience within financial/operational management, preferably within the tech space.
• Entrepreneurial and willing to identify/act on new business opportunities with limited guidance.
• Strong people management skills and a track record of developing/mentoring high performing teams.
• Ideally a keen interest in the Web3/Blockchain space.
