HR Manager

Description

The Human Resources Manager will oversee day-to-day HR functions, implement HR programs and policies, and ensure a productive work environment that supports our client’s mission.

What you’ll do

  • Leading all aspects of the recruitment process, including candidate screening and interview management.
  • Managing Immigration and Ministry of Education matters, including work permit applications.
  • Overseeing orientation and induction processes for new staff.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with HR information systems and record-keeping.
  • Responding to staff queries and maintaining confidentiality of employee information.
  • Staying up-to-date with employment legislation, HR best practices, and recruitment initiatives.
  • Participating in staff professional development sessions.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
  • Professional qualification in Human Resources with evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Minimum of eight years’ current experience in Human Resources, with at least four years at a management or senior management level.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation, WORC regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and policy development.
  • Proficiency in HR Information Systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
