IT Systems Manager
Description
The successful candidate will lead the strategic development of IT within the education sector, ensuring technology supports all aspect of their business needs.
What you’ll do
- Strategic development of IT infrastructure to support a leading education provider
- Maintenance of an IT network infrastructure, including servers, hardware, and software.
- Management of IT software and hardware.
- Daily system monitoring, backup operations, and troubleshooting.
- Development and management of the annual IT budget.
- Oversight of IT policies and compliance with data protection laws.
- Supervision of IT Technicians and liaison with external service providers.
What you’ll bring
- Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Minimum 4 to 5 years’ experience as an IT Systems Manager in an educational setting.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a busy IT Department.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Experience with Microsoft server environments, Azure, and Office 365.
- Knowledge of web design and maintenance using Joomla and WordPress.
- Certification in Microsoft and CISCO technologies is highly desirable.
