IT Systems Manager

Description

The successful candidate will lead the strategic development of IT within the education sector, ensuring technology supports all aspect of their business needs.

What you’ll do

• Strategic development of IT infrastructure to support a leading education provider
• Maintenance of an IT network infrastructure, including servers, hardware, and software.
• Management of IT software and hardware.
• Daily system monitoring, backup operations, and troubleshooting.
• Development and management of the annual IT budget.
• Oversight of IT policies and compliance with data protection laws.
• Supervision of IT Technicians and liaison with external service providers.

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years’ experience as an IT Systems Manager in an educational setting.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a busy IT Department.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Experience with Microsoft server environments, Azure, and Office 365.
• Knowledge of web design and maintenance using Joomla and WordPress.
• Certification in Microsoft and CISCO technologies is highly desirable.
