Key Responsibilities:

• Navigate the intricate landscape of reinsurance transactions with precision. From treaty accounting to facultative reinsurance, you’ll be responsible for navigating the financial intricacies that underpin risk management.
• Conduct thorough analyses of reinsurance contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. Uncover insights that drive strategic decision-making and optimize financial outcomes.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reinsurance financial reports, distilling complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders. Be the go-to expert for providing clear, concise, and insightful information on reinsurance portfolios.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including underwriting and actuarial departments. Your financial acumen will be pivotal in aligning reinsurance strategies with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

• An accounting qualification from a recognized accounting body (CA, CGA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, OR CMA)
• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics
• 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry
• Proven experience in reinsurance accounting, captive insurance or related roles
