Technical Specialist (2nd/3rd Line)
Description
SteppingStones are currently partnering with a leading IT organization in the Cayman Islands who are hiring for a Technical Specialist (2nd/3rd Line) to join their team.
Reporting directly to the Service Desk Manager, this will be a client-facing role providing exceptional 2nd/3rd Line Support. You will be working as the #2 on the Service Desk team and you would be expected to take on full responsibility for the Service Desk in the absence of the Service Desk Manager.
Essential skills:
- Minimum of five years’ experience working with Microsoft, VMware, Citrix and Veeam networking technologies.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of supporting Active Directory, Hyper-V 2012/2016 and Exchange 2013/2016 with a current Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) or MCSA/MCSE certifications.
- Minimum of three years’ experience of supporting Veeam Backup, Cylance Protect and Anti-Virus Products.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of designing, migrating and managing Microsoft Cloud solutions including Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.
- Experience of installing, configuring and supporting VMware Vsphere ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Minimum of five years’ experience working with DELL and HPE Server hardware as well as DELL and HPE SAN solutions.
- Consumer awareness and confidence with dealing with clients at all levels and strong communication skills and experience in the
delivery of Projects and IT services.
