Trust Officer - Contract

SteppingStones is working on behalf of our client, a leading local financial institution, to assist them in sourcing a Trust Officer for a 6 month contract.
  
In this role, the Trust Officer will be responsible for assisting in administering trusts and companies while interacting with Clients, Brokers, Lawyers, Accountants, and Government offices. The role will also include preparing incorporation documents and all related agreements and correspondence, processing additions, distributions, and any other trust events for clients.
  
We are looking for a candidate that has excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organisational skills, experience in a client-facing role, and possesses the ability to work well within a team. This role requires a working knowledge of client management and filing systems and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 4+ years of relevant experience in the Trust industry
  • Must be a member of, or working towards membership of STEP or hold a similar relevant designation
  • Immediately available or available upon completion of a short notice period
  • Candidates must be currently based in the Cayman Islands (or have extensive recent experience working in the jurisdiction) in order to be considered for this position.
