Warehouse Night Shift Supervisor

Description

SteppingStones is seeking a Warehouse Night Shift Supervisor, responsible for overseeing night shift operations with a focus on safety, payroll budget, and productivity goals to join our client’s team. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily stand-up meetings to communicate shift goals and objectives.
• Ensure staging areas are organized and assign specific areas for each route.
• Collaborate with team members to address requirements and instructions.
• Manage M3/Factory Track for order assignment and picking priorities.
• Report any issues or disruptions to management.
• Handle absences, grievances, and disciplinary issues according to HR policy.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with management and lead team to achieve shift-specific goals.
• Verify accuracy and quality of selected items and manage loading process.
• Maintain control of order flow onto and off staging areas.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control on scanning issues.
• Ensure security of pallets after checking.
• Provide shift performance updates to Operations Group.
• Assist in other warehouse duties as needed.
• Demonstrate positive attitude and respect towards team members.
• Provide coverage for Sales Representatives’ days off and vacations.
• Perform other job-related duties assigned by management.

Core Technical Competencies:

• Enthusiastic leadership skills.
• 5+ years experience in inventory control, distribution, and warehouse management.
• Experience in multi-temperature warehouse management.
• Proficiency in picking, checking, loading processes, and dispatching deliveries.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems, preferably Infor M3.

Requirements:

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Available for shifts from 6:00 pm to 3:30 am.
