23rd Annual Flowers Sea Swim

The turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea make for the perfect location for an open water swimming event. The 23rd Annual Flowers Sea Swim is scheduled for June 13, 2015.   The Flowers Sea Swim is Grand Cayman’s most popular open water sporting event. In fact, last year’s event hosted over 900 swimmers! Olympians and world championship open water swimmers from around the world will be joining participants for what is expected to be an amazing day of swimming.

Like last year, the Walk and Watch program will be offered as well.  This gives non-swimmers the chance to be a part of the excitement.  All registration proceeds for the swim and walk are donated to the Special Olympics, Cayman Islands.

All participants will be eligible for over US$100,000.00 in prizes to include round trip airline tickets to destinations such as Miami, New York, London, Rome, and Toronto; cell phones; watersports, health and fitness and dining vouchers, just to name a few.

SteppingStones staff member, Pam Abbott participated in last year’s 5k open water swim, and SteppingStones staff member, Bethany Miller and her husband, Caleb Miller attended the Olympians Gala last year. Bethany has signed up to participate in the Walk and Watch this year, and will again be attending the Olympians Gala at the Marriott, Grand Cayman.
