Accounts Assistant

Description

SteppingStones Recruitment is currently recruiting for the temporary position of Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliations, and the preparation and posting of income reports.
  
Duties include reviewing bank statements, validating cash, and ensuring accurate and timely allocation of customer payments to invoices. The role also involves maintaining accurate financial records and supporting general accounting and administrative functions.
  
Qualifications

  • 2–3 years’ experience in an accounting role
  • Strong numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using QuickBooks is an advantage.
  • Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
