Finance Accounting Assistant
Description
On behalf of our client, a leading global financial services provider, we are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Accounting Assistant to support our client’s Finance team. The ideal candidate is an organized self-starter with a solid understanding of financial controls and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate and process vendor/supplier invoices
- Resolve payable issues with vendors/suppliers
- Reconcile vendor ledgers and bank accounts
- Monitor expense manager app entries
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries and accruals
- Initiate and process vendor/supplier payments
- Prepare month-end reporting schedules
- Review helpdesk ticket requests
- Update electronic filings
- Assist with related duties and ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Navision or Business Central
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
