Finance Accounting Assistant

Description

On behalf of our client, a leading global financial services provider, we are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Accounting Assistant to support our client’s Finance team. The ideal candidate is an organized self-starter with a solid understanding of financial controls and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate and process vendor/supplier invoices
  • Resolve payable issues with vendors/suppliers
  • Reconcile vendor ledgers and bank accounts
  • Monitor expense manager app entries
  • Prepare and post month-end journal entries and accruals
  • Initiate and process vendor/supplier payments
  • Prepare month-end reporting schedules
  • Review helpdesk ticket requests
  • Update electronic filings
  • Assist with related duties and ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Navision or Business Central
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
