Finance Director
Description
As a senior leadership position, we are seeking an individual with profound business acumen, robust financial expertise, and the capacity to enhance financial performance across diverse jurisdictions and markets within a dynamic, high-growth business environment. This executive will play a crucial role as the primary sponsor and driving force behind a substantial finance transformation initiative, reshaping a finance function to support long-term growth and strategic objectives.
Collaboration with the CFO, CEO, Senior Management Team, and the Board of Directors is integral to this role. Reporting directly to the Global CFO with a dotted line to the CEO, the Finance Director will be tasked with the following key responsibilities:
What you’ll do
- Lead a global finance department, aligning direction with business strategy and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Formulate plans, set targets, and monitor performance with a focus on internal controls and adherence to accounting standards.
- Utilize financial analysis for decision-making, risk identification, and profitability improvement.
- Collaborate with Senior Management to develop financial strategies, align resources with long-term growth objectives, and enhance competitive position.
- Liaise with global Finance function to optimize SLA execution and establish performance metrics.
- Adopt a holistic view of the company’s value chain, identifying opportunities that require attention.
- Act as key sponsor and driving force behind a transformative global initiative, reshaping financial processes for long-term growth and strategic objectives.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Provide strong leadership to the global finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and personal growth.
What you’ll bring
- Financial analysis proficiency for strategic decision-making and multinational growth initiatives.
- Relevant work experience in Financial and Professional Services.
- Senior management-level responsibility for firm/group financial records.
- Adaptability in financial strategies amid changing markets and regulatory demands.
- Recognized professional accounting designation (ACA/CA/CPA).
- In-depth technical knowledge of IFRS and audit experience (Big 4 advantageous).
- Expertise in consumption, corporate tax, and transfer pricing.
- Leadership and management skills for teams in multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
