Financial Controller

Description

SteppingStones Recruitment is currently recruiting for the temporary position of Financial Controller. The role involves leading a small accounting team and ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  
Responsibilities include managing and reviewing financial reporting, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors, and utilising automated accounting and reporting systems to support efficient financial operations. The Financial Controller will also provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making and ensure the integrity of financial records.
  
Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (CPA or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Proven experience managing and leading a team.
• Experience working with external auditors.
• Strong MS Excel and Word skills
• Banking or Big 4 experience is an advantage.
