Senior Accountant

Description

Experienced Senior Accountant needed, on a temporary basis, to lead financial reporting, audits, compliance, and accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Lead financial reporting, month-end close, and audit preparation.
• Review financial transactions, variances, and payroll processes.
• Provide technical guidance on GAAP/IFRS standards and compliance improvements and support system enhancements.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/CA (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 7+ years’ progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven leadership and analytical skills.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred.
