Technical Project Manager

Description

Opportunity available for a Technical PM, responsible for leading medium to large-scale technology and software delivery projects across multiple business functions and stakeholder groups.
Duties:

  • Managing the full lifecycle of technology projects using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Leading multiple concurrent software and transformation projects across cross-functional teams
  • Driving project planning, governance, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communications
  • Coordinating with senior leadership, product owners, PMO teams, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery
  • Monitoring project progress, resolving issues, and escalating risks and dependencies where required
  • Leading project meetings, steering groups, retrospectives, and status reporting activities
  • Supporting change management and business readiness initiatives throughout the project lifecycle
  • Managing stakeholder expectations, prioritisation discussions, and impact assessments
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives and governance frameworks

Requirements:

  • Prior experience within professional services and legal is preferred 
  • Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale IT and software implementation projects within complex environments
  • Experience working on both in-house and vendor-led technology projects would be a plus
  • PMP, PRINCE2 or similar project management certification preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Strong knowledge of project governance, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and risk management
  • Experience working with software development teams and a solid understanding of SDLC
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall methods
