Technical Support - Senior Specialist

Description

Opportunity for Senior Specialist to join a highly skilled IT services team providing outsourced IT management and support to a diverse client base. This is a hands-on role supporting client infrastructure both remotely and on-site, with responsibility for delivering high-quality technical support, systems administration, and infrastructure consulting.

The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Key Duties:

• Provide Level 1-3 technical support for client environments, both remotely and on-site.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, and VMware.
• Configure and support network infrastructure, including Cisco firewalls and switches.
• Perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, testing, and preventive maintenance.
• Support backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, systems availability, and network security.
• Assist with database administration and infrastructure improvements.
• Document work completed and maintain accurate technical records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience; alternatively, 10+ years of equivalent hands-on IT experience will be considered in lieu of formal IT qualifications.
• Proven experience providing Tier 3 technical support in a managed services or outsourced IT environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, SQL Server, VMware, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience configuring and supporting Cisco networking equipment, including firewalls and switches.
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure, disaster recovery, backup solutions, and systems administration.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
