IT Support Specialist

Description

An established Cayman-based IT solutions provider is seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior IT professional looking to build hands-on experience across a broad range of technologies while supporting both residential and commercial clients.

This role is ideal for someone who is interested in gaining exposure to diverse IT environments including cloud platforms, networking, cybersecurity, hardware support, and Microsoft 365 solutions.

Duties:

• Provide first-line and second-line IT support to business and residential clients, both remotely and on-site
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and system issues efficiently
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices
• Support Microsoft 365 environments including Outlook, Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, and user account administration
• Assist with setup, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based solutions and managed IT services
• Support networking infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi systems, and internet connectivity
• Assist with server setup, system upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance
• Support cybersecurity initiatives including antivirus management, endpoint security, backups, and security best practices
• Assist with data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
• Maintain accurate service documentation, ticket notes, and technical records

Requirements:

• IT qualification, diploma, certification, or relevant technical training required
• Minimum 1+ year of IT support experience in a professional environment
• Experience in helpdesk, desktop support, technical support, or similar IT role
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting
• MSP experience is advantageous but not required
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle is essential
