Pam Wins Ladies Division in First Two of Cayman Classic Cycling Series

We were all thrilled for SteppingStones own Pam Travers who has won the first two out of five bike races in the Cayman Classic, Caymans premier cycling series.

The series kicked off on Sunday May 1st with a 5k individual time trial.  Super-athletic Pam sailed through with a time of 8:24 to claim the win for the ladies division.  Not a fan of time trials, Pam was surprised to win.  “I have never won a time trial before, and I really was not expecting to win this time.  I guess all the training I have been doing in preparation for my upcoming triathlon in July is really paying off and I am delighted,” said Pam.

Pam continued her winning streak the following Sunday in a 45-mile road race, with cyclists setting off as a group from Grand Harbour, completing one loop of the eastern end of the Island before returning to the finish line just past Lantern Point.  Pam finished with the main group of cyclists and was the first lady to cross the finish line.

Way to go Pam and best of luck in the next three races!
