IT Account Executive

Description

We are looking for a dynamic Corporate Account Manager, focusing on the SMB sector in the Cayman Islands. This role centers on driving growth by prospecting and securing sales opportunities, specifically targeting both existing clients and new leads. Key responsibilities will include cold calling, cross-selling, and upselling our range of services, all aimed at offering tailored solutions that meet the distinct needs of each client. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing a diverse portfolio of accounts, consistently exceeding sales targets, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism throughout all client interactions
  
Key Duties:

  • Cold Calling & Lead Generation: Actively engage in cold calling and networking to identify new business opportunities within the SMB sector, focusing on key stakeholders.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring proper forecasting and alignment with company revenue goals.
  • Account Management: Cultivate and expand existing accounts through strategic account planning, offering additional services and solutions to meet clients’ evolving needs.
  • Sales Proposals & Presentations: Prepare and present customized proposals, bids, and tenders.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships by communicating regularly through calls, meetings, and networking events.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends and competitors to effectively position the company’s offerings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and small business managers to accelerate client engagement and refine sales strategies.
  • CRM Updates & Data Insights: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales activity records in the CRM system, using insights to optimize sales techniques and account management.
  • Client Engagement: Foster continuous communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and uncover new sales opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in sales within telecom, IT or MSP comapny
  • Demonstrated success in cold calling, decision-making, and account management.
  • Knowledge of telecom and managed services industry, particularly cloud services, enterprise networks, and IP-based solutions
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, particularly in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
  • A keen understanding of KPIs and their role in decision-making and accountability
  • One or more of the following certifications would be highly beneficial; Fortinet, Azure, Office 365 Fundamentals, Cisco Sales Essentials, or Cisco Sales Expert Program
