AVP, Trusts & Corporates

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a diverse portfolio of complex trust and corporate structures, encompassing both portfolio and non-portfolio assets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with settlors, beneficiaries, protectors, beneficial owners, and their advisors, as well as investment managers and third parties, while providing exceptional service.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new structures by collaborating with families, their advisors, and colleagues in business development and risk compliance.
• Ensure all structures are managed in compliance with relevant laws, constitutional documents, and company policies and procedures.
• Monitor, verify, and authorize account transactions to uphold a robust Anti-Money Laundering (AML) environment.
• Maintain Client Due Diligence for all structures.
• Address risk review action items promptly within designated time frames.
• Track the profitability of each relationship by accurately recording time spent, billing, and collecting agreed fees, as well as additional charges for unusual tasks, to meet revenue targets for both existing and new relationships.
• Conduct research, assess, and propose fee increases and additional charges for unique work.
• Mentor, manage, and coach team members to foster their professional growth.

  
Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Professional qualifications such as STEP, ACIB, or ACIS are preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of trust and company administration practices.
• Familiarity with investments and/or banking is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

  
Salary range is between CI$80k-90k plus bonus and benefits.
